Cherry on the tree
What a lovely reminder
Of our ancestors
This Haiku is inspired by my niece Cherry – the little girl on the tree doing monkey business. This was written for Carpe Diem’s Ancestor prompt.
A Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five; traditionally evoking images of the natural world.
