Gloomy clouds in front
The moon behind, remind me
That this too shall pass
A Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five; traditionally evoking images of the natural world.

Gloomy clouds for some. Romantic clouds for others …..sharabi, sharabi, yeh savaan ka mausam/khuda ki kasam khubsoorat na hota/agar isme rangeen mohabat na hota!

Is this optimism or pessimism? Coz even the good times will pass :p
good question Arish… the answer to which lies in another question – do you look at the glass half full or half empty? 🙂
It depends on what my glass is filled with :p

Can you get the joy of hope without that gloomy clouds? Ponder!
That’s a deep thought! Why, yes Ravish… you can… My guru – Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev says – come rain or sunshine, it is possible to be in a constant state of joyousness…. 🙂
Gloom & Hope are two sides of a coin. You cannot have a coin with one side, can you? What is the point of having hope without being in a gloomy situation?
Exactly Archana, it is possible to be in a constant state of joyousness in both, rain & sunshine. You cannot avoid rain to be joyous. In fact, rain too has its own joy as sunshine. In the same way, you cannot avoid gloomy situation. You have to be joyous in that too. In order to be in a constant state of joyousness, you have to transcend the duality. You cannot have one side of a coin alone. You can have either or neither. Gloomy clouds is a must to enjoy hope. 🙂
A hope that can’t be washed away by the impending downpour, right?
True, this too shall pass. If winter comes, can spring be far behind!
It’s hope that keeps us going!
Very beautifully said, Archana 🙂
Your hope indeed transcends in me :’)
