Like overcast sky
Sombre hospital couloir
Dampens my spirits
I wrote this one at the hospital when papa was in the ICU!
A Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five; traditionally evoking images of the natural world

Your Haiku makes my vocab stronger. My comment may sound completely irrelevant to you. After reading other’s comments… I feel I have missed something on your side… still I am a step towards knowing you virtually Archana. My regards and prayers to your father. Smile now… *Hugs*
Hey Tara, I am happy and can totally relate with your comment…
Well, my dad had a stroke and was hospitalised… that’s when I wrote this haiku… sitting outside the ICU… Happy that you are getting to know me and I want to get to know you well too… 🙂
Thanks for the wishes 🙂 Love and hugs…
I am very sorry to hear that… at the same time I am happy to know that he is doing fine now. My regards and best wishes to him. Thanks for your kindness Archana 🙂

You’ve perfectly captured your profound emotions in this haiku, Archana. Really, writing gives us an outlet to vent, to express when things go awry. Hope Uncle is fine now.
Keep smiling, dear 🙂
Oh yes Purba… writing is like a religious thing for me, for us… 🙂
