Indeed a leap of faith. Lovely Haiku, dear ~xx
Thanks Arohii 🙂 xoxo
Wow! Bringing the old classic alive through a lovely Haiku… Great one 🙂
Yay! So glad you liked it Srivi 🙂
And welcome to Drishti my friend… very happy to see you here 🙂
Thanks for a such a warm welcome Archana 🙂
The lion and the rat – such unconventional friends.
You bet dear 🙂
Just as there is a story about Rat and Lion, there is also a story about Rat, Dog and Cat. So, rat is a friendly creature.
It sure does look like one Manisha 🙂
Your haiku paints a wonderful image. At first I thought it was about Ganesha but then realised it was a lion not an elephant – same feeling though. 🙂
Thank you so much Suzanne 🙂 Yes, same feeling 🙂
Welcome to Drishti and we hope to see you here often! 🙂
It could be true with Rat or lion, or whichever animal, but rarely true with a human and human. Just saying.
LOL… that’s food for thought! 🙂
Lovely haiku, Archana!
It seems like a perfect description of Promised Land 🙂
A twist in the tale. Nice one.
