Innocent disguise,
Black spots, expeditious pace,
Deceptive, cute cat!
We were on a road trip to the Smokies with the family and throughout the drive my 5 year old nephew could not stop talking about the Cheetah and its fast pace. No wonder when the prompt asked for ‘cat’, the Cheetah was top of mind recall. This one is dedicated to Rohan – my sweet nephew!
A Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five; traditionally evoking images of the natural world

Yes, its deceptive and cute 🙂
A wonderful dedication to Rohan 🙂
Although I’m a dog and horse lover, I held a deep fascination for cats – especially, big cats. A lovely haiku depicting the sinuous feline! Beautiful!
Wow… story as well as picture. This picture made me to open post, read it fully and type in comment!
Good haiku ..
Deceptive but cute. I love how you depict this wild animal with its sheer power and aura:)
There couldn’t be any better description of this cat in so less words!
