Versatile attires are all about doing and redoing the same pieces to create different and classy looks. One such versatile garment being the one which has gone down the beaten path for centuries and yet is loved and loved more by every age group, every gender. The good old pair of Jeans! Skinny, boyfriend, straight or boot-legged, this is one oldie which is here to stay. Styles may come and go, trends may be set and unset, but the classy jeans never goes out of style!
I love my jeans. There was a time when I would travel only in jeans and a tee. I thought traveling in jeans made you a very chic and hip traveler (has your tummy bursted out laughing yet?), when the whole world would be traveling in shorts, leggings and yoga pants! Of course, I have learnt the other ways of chic travel gear now, but that doesn’t mean I have abandoned my poor old friend. 🙂
I love styling jeans with a tee and a scarf. Of scarves we will speak another day in detail. For day, let’s ta;l about classic looks. It’s been a wee bit cold since Fall here and the preference is to wear warmer clothing! I prefer my knit sweater cum tees which are warm and snug, and do the job they are meant to do. And styling with a scarf makes life very simple and the whole look becomes gorgeous in a jiffy!
Here’s what I mean…
Am wearing an Old Navy Red Rib Knit Sweater with my Old Navy Light Blue Jeans. The pretty and colorful scarf is a cotton one from Express and it has colors that entirely match the jeans and tee – making it a wonderful combination. While you could wear sneakers or even flats to complete the look, I wanted to make it a little more glamorous and hence the red wedges and the big hoops in the ears.
I especially love how the edge of the scarf has that unfinished look!
This is one look that is ageless, again and can be worn by anyone. Don’t you think so?
A big congrats on this big bright new venture Archie! You look amazing in this vibrant tee and cool jeans. I can’t imagine how much hard work would have gone into clicking these brilliant shots. Love the classy blog look!
