It’s been a while since I blogged. And if you’ve noticed, a lot has changed since; including the name of my happy place – my personal blog. I now pen down my thoughts under my family name – Mrs. Kapoor. Next chapter and new beginnings.
While re-doing this entire process of name change, a lot of thoughts went through my busy head. Busy because it’s always buzzing with ideas. But it takes time to take shape and form, due to #momlife. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving every moment of being a mother, it’s the best thing ever. But, everything else takes a backseat. And that’s why it took so long to re-do everything in this space. There’s a lot of things that need to get done even now, but over the years I have realized that I can’t keep waiting for the perfect time or the perfect moment to accomplish whatever I need to. One has to make a start, and improvements and changes keep happening at their own pace. With that lesson in mind, I have decided to go ahead and publish my new blog.
What am I going to do with it?
At the onset, I am going to merge all my previous blogs into one big umbrella. Because that’s what MrsKapoor.com will be. A big and safe place to talk about everything that I want to. Be it fashion, motherhood, travel, poetry, personal chatter or even launching my own line someday (yes, the cat is out of the bag… that’s on the radar too… someday, soon). So, while it’s still WIP; my travel blog – Travel with Archie, my old personal blog – Drishti.co and my fashion blog – Archanelle …. all of them are going to be here! Well, you could call it my life’s work until now too.
Am hoping to add value to my readers by writing about things that make a difference in everyone’s life, including mine. Am going to start by celebrating people who have made a difference to many other people’s lives. Those women and men who are heroes in real life, because they had the courage to dream, and dared to make that dream come true. I am talking about entrepreneurs, who toil day and night to achieve their dreams, who start small in the hope of making it big by sheer hard work and persistence; and pave the way for many others who are yet to find the courage to dream big.
I am going to start a series on Entrepreneurs who have started their small businesses. To be honest, when I had conceived this idea, it was going to be only about women entrepreneurs. Chances are that many more women may be seen here than men. However, I have decided that I will not discriminate. Men who dare to dream and find it challenging to achieve their goals are an equal reason to celebrate. Aren’t they?
I hope you enjoy reading my notes/ articles/ rants in the days and weeks to come. I promise to be more regular and write often. And just know, I am open to feedback. I’d love to know your thoughts and ideas of what you like and what I can do better, because change is the only constant. And if you don’t tell me what works, or what needs to be changed, it’s just going to be a monologue. While the narcissist in me loves to hear herself, she also loves talking to people and understanding them. So, don’t let her be on her own. Because, it is only together, that we grow learn and grow!
Love and light,
Archana Kapoor
