There’s something very special about the 4th of July, no matter what you plan to do on that day. Whether you’re going on a mini vacay on the beach or the mountains, just laying by the pool, or even if you plan to grill on your backyard, dressing up for America’s birthday is just so fun. Isn’t it? I have tonnes of outfit ideas for the special day. But I just wanted to quickly hop in here and share my favorite idea for this year.
Out of all the three colors – red, white and blue; red is the most striking of them all. And that’s why chose to go with it. I picked up a stunning red maxi dress – the Leap of Faith Red Maxi by Red Dress Boutique. It’s a gorgeous and effortless sundress. Very versatile and summery and something that can be on repeat the entire summer season, not just the 4th of July. Though, I must admit, that I bought it for that special occasion.

This maxi features a deep scoop neckline which I love. I carry off low necks pretty well and adore dresses which have that. The non-adjustable strappy look is cute. The dress has a matching waist tie. I chose to wear that in the pictures, but one could even dress it up with another belt. And most of all that I simply love about the dress is the gathered tier skirt. I love a good tiered dress and this one does the trick completely. So pretty! The dress is 100% polyester and really very light.
I paired it with matching red heels, though a nude pair would also look pretty chic. I just wanted to go red as much as I could. That’s why the choice of the multi-colored tassel bag. Unfortunately, this cute bag is sold out, but you can get added to the waitlist to get a notification when they restock it. The dress is still available in S & L as of now.
For a slightly different look, I added a red, white and blue neck scarf that I had picked up at Target last year. A slight twist to the look. Tell me what you think of it.

I’ll be sharing some more outfit ideas very soon. Meantime, stay healthy and stay safe loves!
